Dr Dashfield, Consultant Anaesthetist & Pain Management Specialist
Dr Dashfield undertook basic anaesthetic training in Plymouth and the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Higher specialty training was undertaken at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal Brompton Hospital and finally at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. Additional Chronic Pain Management experience was gained in the Pain Relief Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. At the end of his training, in 1998, he won the Royal Society of Medicine Registrar prize and Gold Medal for Anaesthesia. Dr Dashfield was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) by Birmingham University in 2001, a Masters Degree in Medical Education (MSc) by Exeter University in 2009 and a Masters Degree in Medical Leadership (MSc) by Warwick University in 2012.
He was a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth for 12 years before moving to the Isle of Man. He was a Primary and Final Royal College of Anaesthetists Fellowship (FRCA) examiner from 2006 – 2018, and is a founding Faculty of Pain Medicine (FFPMRCA) examiner since 2010.
Dr Dashfield specialises in the management of chronic back pain, sciatica, neuropathic pain, chronically painful musculoskeletal conditions and interventional pain management for chronic hip and knee pain. A formal GP referral is not necessary unless specified by a healthcare provider.
Dr Dashfield served in the Navy for over 16 years & was a Surgeon Commander when he left the Navy to take up his NHS post. Dr Dashfield & his wife, Susan, have their hands full with their very own herd of Manx loaghtan sheep & also enjoy spending time with their three children. Mr Hogg, Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon
Mr Hogg can help with any Ear, Nose & Throat problems - allergies, blocked nose or ear, vertigo, hearing loss, snoring, sleep apnoea, thyroid problems, tonsillitis or any other issues. Waiting lists for surgery can be lengthy, Mr Hogg can see you at your convenience & on your timeline. Patients do not need a referral to book in with Mr Hogg & he accepts most insurance plans & self pay patients. Mr Hogg is the head of the private practice ENTr, located in the heart of Douglas. Patients can visit the ENTr practice on Victoria Street for their initial appointments & reviews. More complex procedures, such as surgery, are undertaken either at Noble’s Hospital or at specialised facilities in the UK. You will always see the same doctor for both your initial appointments, surgery & reviews as Mr Hogg will provide continuity of care.
Richard Hogg was born and raised on the Isle of Man & he graduated in 1992 with a BSc in pharmacology and a medical degree. He began specialised surgical training in the West Midlands deanery in 1998, which included general ENT (including children), thyroid surgery, and facial plastics of the head and neck area. Mr Hogg became a consultant in 2004 & spent the next seven years in Carlisle. In 2011 he returned to the Isle of Man and over the last 11 years has offered both NHS & private services according to patient preferences.

Professor Harrison has practiced all over the United Kingdom including London, Northern Ireland, Manchester, Dorset, Liverpool & the Isle of Man. Professor Harrison enjoys cycling, running, skiing, kayaking, sailing, snowboarding, travelling, listening to music and spending time with his daughter. Professor Harrison is supported by his dermatology nurse, Lynda. Lynda is an important member of the clinic and helps it run smoothly. Lynda enjoys travelling, cooking, baking, reading and walking her terrier, Penny.

Mr Husada, Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon
Mr Husada is a general consultant and a colorectal surgeon. He treats a wide variety of conditions and Mr Husada's clinical interests include laparoscopic “keyhole” surgery to treat colorectal cancer, abdominal wall hernias, gallstones & emergency general surgery. He was awarded CCST (Certificate of Completion of Surgical Training) in 2006 by Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and also Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. Mr Husada is recognised on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for General Surgery.
Dr Husada consults privately at Elite Medical Clinic and Noble's Hospital Private Patient Unit. Mr Husada is registered with BUPA, AXA, AVIVA and all major insurers and also accepts self paying patients.
In his spare time Dr Husada enjoys skiing and is an avid amateur chef for his family.

Dr Finochi & Dr Straiton, Consultant Radiologists
Dr Finochi is originally from Italy & received her medical degree from University of Rome La-Sapienza. Dr Finochi spent many years in a variety of countries in facilities of differing sizes where she taught & trained a wide range of radiology fellows. Dr Finochi became a consultant in 2004, & over the next 18 years she has grown & developed her skills, with a special interest in Cardiac CT Scans. After spending time in a host of different countries, Dr Finnochi settled with her husband, David, three children & her dog, Coco, on the Isle of Man. Dr Finochi is an avid horse rider & can be found at the stables when she is not working.
Dr Straiton graduated from the University of Glasgow & completed his radiology training in the West of Scotland. Dr Straiton has worked as a locum consultant in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde & Aberdeen Royal Infirmary from 2012-2019. Dr Straiton’s work has been published in Clinical Radiology & the European Journal of Radiology. He has also taught on the FRCR London course, MRCS (Ed) preparation courses and has been an invited speaker at national conferences.
Dr Finochi & Dr Straiton offer a host of scans & diagnostic examinations, including, but not limited to, x-ray, ultrasound, computerised tomography (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac CT scan, vascular studies, gynaecological ultrasonography & more.
